The acorn butter did not turn out, but it was more family time sorting and cracking them open. The left overs we left on the back deck to deal with later and our squirrels that live in the back yard found them. Now we have new friends!

Devils Gulch adventures
This week we made several trips to Devils Gulch and had a blast. So much to see and do, We climbed all over the rocks, got to see a big painted turtle and collected a ton of acorns to try to make acorn butter.
Our first trip out there we really got to check the place out, the second trip we collected acorns.
We also got some great pictures of the Gulch!
