Devils Gulch adventures

This week we made several trips to Devils Gulch and had a blast. So much to see and do, We climbed all over the rocks, got to see a big painted turtle and collected a ton of acorns to try to make acorn butter.

Our first trip out there we really got to check the place out, the second trip we collected acorns.

We also got some great pictures of the Gulch! The acorn butter did not turn out, but it was more family time sorting and cracking them open. The left overs we left on the back deck to deal with later and our squirrels that live in the back yard found them. Now we have new friends!

I really need to post things more often!

I can not believe it was last September when I thought I should blog! Then I made one post, so let us try this again! With our April ice storm here, I should have plenty of time to post a few things. I have to say I am still taking pictures like crazy. My last fun trip out was to take some pictures for my best friend Anna and her fiancé Nate. I love Anna with all my heart and it almost brings tears to my eyes to see her so happy. What a great looking couple! I love this lady bunches and I hope nothing but the best for her future!
